Check engine light
The engine management system has logged a fault. It can be anything from a loose fuel cap to a failing sensor or misfire. If the light is flashing, the misfire is severe — reduce speed and avoid long trips.
What to do nowNote any change in how the car drives. A diagnostic scan reads the exact fault code so we fix the cause — not the symptom.
